Privacy and ZEEN boundaries

The space is calmer when you understand what happens to your words.

With an account

Signed-in conversations are stored in your account so you can return to them. You can rename them, open them, export them as JSON, or permanently delete them one at a time.

Without an account

By default, a conversation stays temporarily in your browser. In Talk, you can separately enable server history for new conversations for up to 30 days. A cookie in this browser protects access; deleting it removes your access. Avoid enabling history on shared devices. Turning history off deletes saved guest conversations.

Learning Echo without an account

Learning Echo is a separate voluntary choice, off by default. It also works without server history. When enabled, it processes new message → reply → reaction sequences through the OpenAI API with store: false. After privacy checks, it keeps only detached anonymized observations. Not every exchange produces an observation. Raw texts are neither stored as shared learning nor displayed in the administrative Echo. Switching off stops further processing; already detached anonymous observations cannot be traced back to a person.

Your control without an account

Find settings and history directly in Talk. Turn either choice off or delete all guest data. Access and history have fixed expiration, at most 30 days; use does not extend it. At expiry, they become inaccessible and scheduled cleanup deletes them at its next minute run. Backups follow the provider's retention policy. Declining history or Echo does not restrict conversation.

Anonymous counts

ZEEN may count visits, entries, registrations and started conversations by campaign name. These aggregate counts contain no IP address, device data, name, email or conversation text.

This is a plain-language explanation of how ZEEN works, not a replacement for formal legal documentation.

If you need an explanation of your data or account, write to ZEEN.
